    Crimping is high-precision work. Crimp profile and crimping pressure must be precisely matched to the connectors and corresponding cable used to create a connection that is permanently mechanically and electrically safe and secure. The Knipex PreciForce is impressive – also with frequently repeated crimping – due to the light, compact design with toggle lever reinforcement of manual force and precision crimp profile. The ideal, hand-friendly amount of pressure is exerted with precision on the connector being connected to the cable.

    Accurately repeated crimping due to automatic opening of pliers after completed crimping operation

    With the Knipex PreciForce, the user can carry out repeated tasks accurately because the pliers do the job of measuring manual force for him. The PreciForce 97 52 36 is ideally set (calibrated) in the factory to insulated cable lugs, plug connectors and butt connectors. The integral lock blocks premature opening of the pliers before the set upper limit has been achieved using hand pressure. The pliers open automatically only on reaching the set crimping pressure, enabling the user to concentrate completely on crimping. The integral lock can be released where necessary, and the pressure of the pliers can be adjusted manually.
