Cutting cable and stripping solid conductors
Multifunctional tool for NYM cable: for cutting and stripping (1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm²) Unlike diagonal cutters with blades that meet at an obtuse angle, for example, Knipex cable shears cut using a scissors action.
This enables straight and clean cuts to be achieved, making them ideal for shortening cables in house wiring work: for NYM-J 3x1.5 mm, NYM-J 5x2.5 mm and all other stranded and finely stranded Cu and Al cable up to 35 mm². Due to the nature of their cutting edges, they should not be used to cut hard wire.

This produces a better cutting result with less effort compared to conventional diagonal cutters when cutting cable.
