Cut and strip fine cable and strands
For accurate work on printed circuit boards and for installation work
With regard to dimensions, the 11 82 130 wire stripping shears from Knipex weighing just 75 g and with a length of 130 mm fit perfectly in the world of electronics. As with the current and voltage ratings which are much lower than those for electrics, much smaller cable cross-sections and correspondingly finer strands are used in electronics. These can be professionally cut and stripped using the wire stripping shears from Knipex.
Knurled screw with lock nut for adjustment to the conductor cross-section
For very fine conductor cross-sections from a diameter of 0.03 mm, the pliers can be set so accurately using the knurled screw so that only the insulation is cut into and removed without damaging the conductor. The knurled screw is secured with the lock nut to maintain the fine adjustment even during longer periods of work. The cutting function of the shears is not restricted by aligning the wire stripping opening.
Opening spring and multi-component grips
With the wire stripping shears from Knipex, cutting and wire stripping work in electronics is ergonomic and convenient. The integrated opening spring saves the user one hand movement during each cutting and wire stripping operation. The easy to grip multi-component handles mean that the small, light pliers sit comfortably in the hand.
