Sits comfortably in your hand: Safety thanks to the VDE handle sleeves
The insulated handle sleeves for work on electrical installations - frequently referred to as VDE sleeves - insulate against an electric current up to 1,000 Volts when the cutting edges come in contact with live components. Step-by-step cutting explained: The KNIPEX StepCut takes a smart approach - Light pressure on the handles is enough for the inductively hardened cutting edges to slice into the sheath of the multi-conductor cable.
